Smart Attachments for Jira allow users to search for attachments. The Find Attachments function requires the indexation of attachments so that you can search for these attachments correctly. To do so:

  1. Navigate to Settings. Under the Jira admin settings, choose Marketplace apps. 

  2. In the sidebar, under the Smart Attachments section, click Attachment Indexation.

  3. On the opened page, click the Index attachments button.

  4. Wait till the end of indexation. When the indexation is completed, you will see a confirmation message.
