Viewing commits of all branches with Commit Graph. Branches labels in Commits.

New in this release:

  • Viewing commits of all branches on one page. Seeing branches labels in Commits.

Fixed in this release:

  • The bug in the Commits that caused the issue with commits made on Sunday being referred to the wrong Sunday - a week earlier the day they were created.
  • The bug occurring when there is no email specified in user profile. The issue caused errors when loading the Graphs page in repositories, which included contributions made by a Bitbucket Server user that had no email provided in user profile.
  • Fixed rendering the content of the code tag in Activity and Contributions.

Improvements in Commit Graph

Commit Graph visualizes the development flow of repositories. Bitbucket Server doesn't allow to view commits of all branches in a repository on one page. That is why before you could see Commit Graph of only one branch.

In the version 3.2.0 we implemented the capability to see commits of all branches, which lets you view Commit Graph of all branches in a repository.

To see the commits across all branches in a repository with Commit Graph, navigate to the Commits tab in a repository and click the 'Show all' link.

Also we added the branches labels that can be seen in commits messages. It makes it easier to make sense of commits history. As you click a tag or branch label, Commit Graph of that tag or branch will be displayed.
