On this page you'll learn how to output tables in CSV format from Google Sheets and Google Drive on Confluence pages with the help of the Table from CSV macro.


There are two ways to generate an URL link to connect Google Sheets to Table from CSV:

  1. Open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets

  2. Switch to the File tab

  3. Choose the Publish to the web option

  4. Select the Сomma-sepаrated values (.csv) format 

  5. Untick Require viewers to sign in box

  6. Copy the generated link

  7. Use it as CSV URL in the Table from CSV macro
  8. Login and password are not required, please leave the fields blank




  1. Copy the share link of your Google Docs Spreadsheet
  2. Change its ending: "edit?usp=sharing" to "export?&format=csv (or "export?&format=tsv")
  3. Insert the link into the CSV URL input of the Table from CSV macro
  4. Login and password are not required, please leave the fields blank

  1. Choose the CSV file
  2. Click the Get link button
  3. Set permission: Anyone with the link
  4. Copy link
  5. Combine this link-template  https://drive.google.com/u/0/uc?id=  with an ID of the previous one
    • e.g https://drive.google.com/file/d/ 1-WKdM4c8AVcZ0W_WGOjOdf_p3jYNr0Fy /view?usp=sharing
  6. Insert the result link into the CSV URL input of the Table from CSV macro
    • e.g  https://drive.google.com/u/0/uc?id= 1-WKdM4c8AVcZ0W_WGOjOdf_p3jYNr0Fy
  7. Login and password are not required, please leave the fields blank
