On this page you'll learn how to output tables in CSV format from Google Sheets and Google Drive on Confluence pages with the help of the Table from CSV macro.

There are two ways to generate a URL link to connect Google Sheets to Table from CSV:

#1 Google Sheets URL link:

  1. Open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets
  2. Switch to the File tab
  3. Choose the Publish to the web option
  4. Select the Сomma-sepаrated values (.csv) format
  5. Untick Require viewers to sign in box
  6. Copy the generated link.
  7. Use it as CSV URL in the Table from CSV macro

#2 Google Sheets URL link:

  1. Copy the share link of your Google Docs Spreadsheet
  2. Change its ending: "edit?usp=sharing" to "export?&format=csv(or "export?&format=tsv")
  3. Insert the link into the CSV URL input of the Table from CSV macro

Google Drive URL link:

  1. Choose the CSV file
  2. Click the Get link button
  3. Set permission: Anyone with the link
  4. Copy link
  5. Combine this link-template https://drive.google.com/u/0/uc?id= with an ID of the previous one
    • e.g https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-WKdM4c8AVcZ0W_WGOjOdf_p3jYNr0Fy/view?usp=sharing
  6. Insert the result link into the CSV URL input of the Table from CSV macro
    • e.g https://drive.google.com/u/0/uc?id=1-WKdM4c8AVcZ0W_WGOjOdf_p3jYNr0Fy
