Before you start using Handy Status, you should define what statuses you need to use for your tasks and other activities. A status set can include one or multiple statuses which are fully customizable. Once you've created the status sets you need in your Confluence, insert them with the Handy Status macro.

You can find several predefined status sets to start using the app immediately after installation. Later, you can delete these sets if you don't need them in your Confluence.

How to create a status set

  1. Go to the Apps > Handy Macros section on the top menu bar.
  2. Locate the Manage Handy Status tab.
  3. Click the Create status set button on the left sidebar or on the center of a page.
  4. Set the status set name and click the  icon.
  5. Add statuses to the set.
  6. Define status names, backgrounds, and text colors.

How to add descriptions to statuses in a set

  1. Go to the Apps > Handy Macros section on the top menu bar.
  2. Locate the Manage Handy Status tab.
  3. Locate the status set where you need to add descriptions.
  4. Select the Description column for a particular status.
  5. Enter the status description  text using up to 150 symbols or emojis.
