This feature is available from Handy Macros 1.4.0.
A reminder notification is sent on behalf of the user who inserted this macro.
- Go to the edit mode.
- Position the mouse pointer in the appropriate place on the page.

Set Handy Reminder
Set Handy Reminder message
Enter Handy Reminder text in the Message field. You can add text formatting with wiki format. For example:

Note that you need to use Confluence wiki markup syntax to format Handy Reminder text messages.
- Check the Show message next to icon option if you want to display it next to the reminder icon in the page view mode.
This option is available starting from Handy Macros 1.7.0.
Set date and time options for Handy Reminder
- Specify the Next Date and Time to send options for Handy Reminder.
- Set the frequency of reminding (once or daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) in the Period option.
- Add the recipients who will receive the email and workbox notifications.
When the reminding period is "Once", check the Show date option if you want to display it next to the reminder icon in the page view mode.
This option is available starting from Handy Macros 2.1.0 .
The date displayed next to the icon changes its color to orange seven days before the expiration, and to red on the reminding day.
Use the Remind every Nth option to receive a notification every Nth period of time.
This option is available from Handy Macros 1.10.0.
The example below shows that the reminder will be sent every second week as of the current date.
Modify Handy Reminder settings in the page view mode
- Click the Handy Reminder
icon on the page.
- Edit macro settings in the page view mode.
- Click Save.
To change a reminder date when it is displayed next to the icon, click the date in the page view mode and change it like using the Handy Date macro.
