The LaTeX symbols keyboard is an integrated virtual keyboard that helps users quickly insert common LaTeX commands while editing formulas in LaTeX Math for Confluence. It improves speed and convenience when working with mathematical formulas and equations.
How it works
Opening and closing the Keyboard
The keyboard opens automatically when you open the formula editor.
To close the keyboard, click the keyboard icon in the toolbar.
Keyboard tabs
The keyboard includes four main tabs:
1) Most popular - the most frequently used formulas and symbols for quick access.
2) Numeric - digits, math operators, superscript, subscripts, etc.
3) Symbols - common LaTeX math symbols like integrals, limits, trigonometric functions, etc.
4) Greek Letters - both lowercase and uppercase Greek characters.
Inserting symbols
Click any symbol to insert it into the formula input field.
Hold certain symbols to reveal alternatives or variants.
The symbol is inserted at the current cursor position in the formula editor.
