How to use the app
What is this app for?
No Email Storm is the ultimate solution for Confluence users tired of overwhelming email notifications. Our app replaces the standard Notify watchers checkbox with clear, user-friendly buttons, giving you full control over which updates trigger notifications.

Manage the app in personal settings
Users can enable the app individually. To do so:
Click on your profile picture.
Go to Profile > Settings > No Email Storm.
Click Edit and Enable "No Email Storm" plugin.
Click Submit.

Enable the app for Confluence user groups
Confluence administrators can enable the app for specific user groups. To do so:
Go to Confluence Administration > General Configuration.
Under the Users & Security section, locate No Email Storm.
In the App Activation for User Groups field, select the user group to activate the app.
Click Add.

Once added, users in the added Confluence group will no longer have the option to disable the app in their personal settings. The configuration set by the administrator will override the user's settings.

You can delete the group from this list by clicking Delete next to the required group.
How to choose the primary button
When updating the page, you can choose what button is highlighted. To do so:
Go to Confluence Administration > General Configuration.
Under the Users & Security section, locate No Email Storm.
Under the Global Button Configuration you can select the primary button between Update and Update & Notify by clicking on the preferred option.

Selection of the button also affects the Ctrl + S key combination. This key combination is automatically re-mapped to the chosen button.
How to show the Update & Notify button only?
Starting from No Email Storm 2.2.2, you can add the nes-notify label to a page. This will hide the Update button, leaving only the Update & Notify button visible.
