This major release adds the ability to restrict viewing Talk discussions to only selected users and/or user groups. |
Rights Management
When adding a first comment in the Edit mode, you will see a field where you can specify individual users and user groups who can view this discussion.
Talk restrictions always apply to a whole discussion thread and can be changed or removed completely at any moment.
These restrictions control only the permission to view the whole discussion thread. You cannot hide only some comments in a thread. Neither can Talk restrictions prevent someone from adding comments, if they have the editing rights for the page containing the discussion.
