Smart Attachments is a document management app that can be installed in Confluence. It adds a convenient mechanism for managing and organizing project documents in Confluence space storages.

You You can can install the add-on app manually from your local computer and automatically from Atlassian Marketplace.

  1. Install the add-on with app with Universal Plugin Manager or manually.
  2. Install the add-on app license as described here.

Once the Smart Attachments for Confluence app is installed, the Files and Documents link automatically appears in the space sidebar. Please note that Files and Documents link won’t appear automatically in Documentation space. You will need to:

  1. Choose Space tools > Configure sidebar from the bottom of the sidebar (or the cog menu if your sidebar is collapsed)

  2. Add Files and Documents by clicking +
