Text Effects

You can use bold, italics and strikethrough text.

Headings

To format a line as a heading, type "hn." at the start of your line, where n can be a number from 1 to 6.

Images

You can display images from attached files or remote sources.

An image from a remote source is displayed on the page. Uses a fully qualified URL.	!http://www.host.com/image.gif!
An image file attached to a different page is displayed.	!pageTitle^image.gif!
The image is displayed as a thumbnail on the page (only works with images that are attached to the page). Users can click on the thumbnail to see the full-sized image. Thumbnails must be enabled by the site administrator for this to work.	!image.jpg\|thumbnail!

Links

You can provide links to external pages on the web or to a page in the same Confluence instance.

Lists

You can use numbered and bulleted lists with as many levels as you want. If a list is followed by some text, it may be a good idea to add a blank line after it.

Tables

Use double bars for a table heading row.

What you need to type:

You can also use a vertical header.

Quoting

There're two ways of quoting text:

by typing bq. before the quoted text
by using the {quote} macro.

The former is better for short quotations and the latter is preferable for lengthy ones.
