When you create a new quiz it has a default page that participants see when they start a quiz. The link to this page is shown in the quiz settings on the quiz page:
A quiz start page includes the ‘Quiz Setting’ macros that are used to display information about a quiz.
The ‘Quiz Setting’ macro has the following types available:
Total - number of questions included in the quiz
Target - number of questions that must be answered correctly to pass
Time limit - time given to complete a quiz
Free text - number of free text questions included in the quiz
To set a custom start page for a quiz, a quiz author can:
edit a default quiz start page, or
create a new page and specify it in quiz settings
If no page is selected in the ‘Quiz start page’ section of quiz settings, the default add-on page is used.
Skipping a start page
In case you don't need participants view a quiz start page, tick the Skip start page check box and participants will see the first quiz question when they start a quiz.
