AsciiMath Macros

This release introduces two new macros, allowing users to add mathematical formulas using AsciiMath syntax:

  • AsciiMath Inline Formulas to insert formulas directly within a line of text for smooth, inline equations.
  • AsciiMath Block Formulas to add standalone equations as separate blocks, ideal for larger or more complex expressions.

Both macros support live previews, accurate rendering, and flexible formatting, ensuring formulas appear correctly on the page.

As with LaTeX formulas, AsciiMath formulas can be exported from Confluence using the same options. You can use Confluence’s built-in PDF exporter or the Scroll Exporter apps to generate PDF, Word, or HTML documents, with all equations preserving their formatting and appearance.

For more details, see the documentation.
