Confluence sends email and Workbox notifications to page watchers about any changes made on these pages.

If you don't want to notify your colleagues about minor corrections, you should always remember to uncheck the Notify watchers option in Confluence editor.

  1. Configuration set by the administrator will override the settings defined by the user.
  2. Selection of the prominent button also affects the key combination 'Ctrl + S'. This key combination is automatically re-mapped to the prominent button.


Data Center Compatibility

Our No Email Storm has a Data Center compatible version.
If you have just upgraded your Confluence from Server to Data Center, you will see the compatibility issue message  in the Manage apps section. The reason for the error message you see is caused by the fact that you have a Server version installed in your Confluence Data Center after upgrade. Please, uninstall the current app version and install the Data Center version. It's availble at the Atlassian Marketplace. Kindly notice that No Email Storm Data Center is a paid app. The pricing can be found here.

How to show the Update & Notify button only?

From No Email Storm 2.2.2 you can add the 'nes-notify' label to the page. This will hide the Update button, and the Update & Notify button will only remain.
