Where do I enter the evaluation / commercial license received via Atlassian?

By default, you are prompted to automatically apply the license after purchase. If this did not happen, so follow these steps:

1. Navigate to JIRA Jira Administration > Add-onsapps.
2. From the Atlassian Marketplace section, select Manage Add-onsapps.
3. On the list with installed add-onsapps, locate the Teamcity Integration Add-on app for JIRAJira and click it to expand.
4. In the expanded area, locate the License key field.
5. Click the Edit icon.
6. Enter your license key.
7. Click Update.

Where do I enter the evaluation / commercial license received via your website?

1. Navigate to JIRA Administration > Add-ons.
2. From the TeamCity Configuration section, select License Details.
3. Click Enter a new license.
4. Enter your license key.
5. Click Update.

What license do I purchase for

Jira 7?

Starting from version 2.1.0, the add-on app supports the new JIRA Jira licensing model. By default, the add-on app requires the license for the largest JIRA Jira license tier. The add-on supports two license types:

• Marketplace license – license purchased in the Atlassian Marketplace. It works with the JIRA license for the maximal number of users.
• Vendor license – license purchased via our reseller. It works with the JIRA Software license.

Let’s see what purchasing option to choose depending on your JIRA and licensed user tiers.

1. You have a JIRA instance with JIRA Core licensed for 500 users and JIRA Sofware licensed for 100 users. If buying a license in the Atlassian Marketplace, you need to buy an add-on license for 500 users. If buying a license via our reseller you will have to purchase a 100-user add-on license (as the add-on depends on JIRA Software license). So you will save money on this.
2. You have a JIRA instance with JIRA Core licensed for 100 users and JIRA Software licensed for 500 users. If buying the add-on license either in the Atlassian Marketplace or via our reseller you will have to pay for the 500-user license as it is the JIRA Software license.
