Course participants might need to come back to the content after completing the course. They can return to the course and find the module with the needed information. In addition, you can suggest participants would bookmark the module pages that they plan to refer to in the future.

The native Confluence Save a page for later functionality can help with that.

  1. Open your course admin page. And click the module link.
  2. Copy the page URL from your browser navigation bar.
  3. Edit the module page.
  4. Insert the Info panel macro.
  5. Type some text telling participants they could bookmark this module page. And paste the link you copied on Step 2 above.
  6. Publish this page.
  7. Participants will see this message while taking the course.

When you create module pages in a course, they are created as a child page and inherit viewing restrictions. By default, participants have no access to these pages in Confluence and can't bookmark them.

Move module pages into another location if you'd like participants to access them outside the course and bookmark them.
