Fixed in this release
In Talk 3.7.0, email notifications about new Talk discussions were not sent if a discussion was added while viewing a page and had no follow-up comments. Notifications about Talk discussions started while editing a page, as well as those talks that had replies in a discussion, worked fine.
This means if you are currently using Talk 3.7.0, it is likely that you have discussions that users were not notified about. In this case you should update Talk app to the version 3.7.1 as soon as possible.
We are sorry this issue happened and apologize for the inconvenience.
The 3.7.1 version fixed the issue with notifications. However, the fix applies only to Talk discussions that will be created after updating to v.3.7.1. Missing notifications for talks created in v.3.7.0 will not be sent after updating to v.3.7.1.
