The Permission issue (no permission to create pages) error is shown if you lack the following permissions in the space - Pages > Add.

Instead of asking your space admin for permissions, you can try selecting another space while creating a course in Learning.

  • Find out who is a space admin.

    • Go to Space Settings
    • Select Space details.
    • Find a user you can reach out to in the Administrators section. It includes technical users of different apps. Ignore them. You need to find a real user.
  • Reach out to an administrator of the space and ask them to grant you permission on the space level shown called Pages > Add.

  • Go to Space Settings > Space permissions.
  • Edit space permissions and give the user who is trying to create a course/quiz permission called Pages > Add.

A course/quiz are created as regular Confluence pages. That is why creators need permission to add pages in a space where a user creates a course/quiz.
