The Permission issue (no Edit access) error is shown while viewing a course/quiz if you can only view (but not edit) the current page and/or its parent pages.

You will need the help of another user who can edit the page. If you don't know what user can Edit pages.

  • Click the lock icon on the page.

  • Change your access level from Can view to Can edit.

  • Make sure to do that for all parent pages if any.

The app user needs access to your course/quiz administration page and its parent pages. The app attempts to automatically add its user in page restrictions if it's not there already. However, it is required that a person opening a page has permission to restrict pages and change their restrictions in order for the automation to work. When you have only View access to a page, you can't change its restrcitions.
