titleManaging Date Range Visual Filters

Table Filter and Charts for Confluence add-on is equipped with the date range visual filter. You can add this filter type for any column of your table containing datesicons, emoticons, images or check boxes. It allows you to specify the date range for showing data in the table. Alternatively, you can set the start or end value instead of the number range. You can either select the date format from the pre-defined ones or manually specify the required date format.filter your table by one or multiple icons, emoticons, images or checked / unchecked boxes.



Adding the Visual Filter

  1. Edit the pageSwitch the page to edit mode.
  2. Insert the Table Filter macro either by entering {Table Filter} or by selecting it from other macros.Copy and  and paste the table into within the macro body.
  3. Select the macro and click Edit. 
  4. In the Date Filter Columnsthe Icon, checkbox or image filter columns box, select the columns for filtration with date range filtersicons, emoticons, images or check boxes.
  5. Define Save the correct date formatmacro.

Filtering the table with visual filters

  1. Open the page with the table for filtrationSave the page.
  2. On the filtration pane, enter locate the visual filters and position the mouse pointer within the appropriate date rangeone.Image Removed
  3. Select the appropriate icons, emoticons or images or state of check boxes for filtration.
