This major release adds the ability to restrict viewing Talk discussions to only selected users and/or user groups.Rights Management
When adding a first comment in the Edit mode, you will see a field where you can specify individual users and user groups who can view this discussion.
Talk restrictions always apply to a whole discussion thread and can be changed or removed completely at any moment.
These restrictions control viewing a whole discussion thread. You cannot hide only some comments in a thread. Neither can Talk restrictions prevent someone from adding comments, if they have the editing rights for the page containing the discussion.
