To open the administration section of the add-on:

  1. Open JIRA administration console.
  2. Select Add-ons.
  3. Locate the Smart Attachments section and select Configuration.

Event Analytics

Starting from 1.11.0 version, Smart Attachments add-on is equipped with the tracking engine that collects anonymous Event Analytics data. This data will help us to optimize and enhance your experience with the add-on.

The add-on prompts you to enable or disable Event Analytics after installation of the add-on.

You can manually enable or disable Event Analytics in the add-on administration section. Move the toggle to ON (shown as green) or OFF (shown as grey).

Attachment Indexation

Attachment indexation is required for correct JQL search for isues containing specific attachments. This operation may be required when you have temporarily disabled the add-on and then re-enabled it. All the added attachments within this period are missing in the index, so you need to launch attachment indexation manually.

Click Reindex and wait until completion. It may require some time depending on the size of your JIRA instance and number of attachments,
